About Stephen Hultberg

Stephen Hultberg Furniture Maker is a full service furniture shop complete with finishing facilities. Stephen began his furniture career in Mendocino County, California, in 1976 as junior partner in a refinishing business. After several years, he took over the business and began building custom furniture.

In 1986, Stephen relocated to Seattle, WA, where he spent two years as the custom furniture maker for a number of Seattle shops (Heartwood Inc., Visual Effect, and Hundredwaters, respectively). In 1988, he founded Stephen Hultberg Furniture Maker LLC with his shop located in the South Lake Union area of Seattle.

In 2003, he moved into his newly built shop in Southeast Seattle where he specializes in providing high quality custom made residential furniture to designers and private parties.
